DESCRIPTION:
Planning and sequencing design-build projects with multiple owners is a difficult challenge that requires collaboration of all project sponsors. The $750Mil I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project required collaboration between Caltrans, LA Metro, County and City of Los Angeles. This hi-profile project has created terms like “Carmageddon”. Michael Barbour is the Executive Project Director for LA Metro and overseas the agencies largest highway design-build project. He has managed many horizontal design-build projects for highways and airports. He will present on the I-405 project and review LA Metro’s capital program.
